To the Editor.
Sin,- —"Will you kindly allow me to state, through your columns, that I lost ray license nt tholrst meeting of the Court, through at the time being confined to ray room through sickness. On coming before the Bench I was informed that it could not be granted, because I bad not given the requisite notice. I wrote to Wellington, both to tho Minister of Justice and the Customs Department, and in both instances have been informed that they have no power to interfere with the decision of the Licensing Bench,—l am, Ac, Thomas Pavxetich.
