Drunkenness.— Peter Boyhen was fined 2s fid, -with the option of twenty-four hours’ impriswnment; William Ramsay and Kobart Cook ss, or twenty-four hours’ each ; William Thomson and William Tracey 10s, or forty-eight hours’. Petty Thefts.— Jane M'lntyie, for stealing a quantity of drapery the property of Thomas Drummond, was sentenced to three mouths’ imprisonment —Christopher Evaun (14 years old) for stealing a glazier’s diamond, the property of William Gilchrist, was committed to gaol for two days; there to receive five lashes; after which he was ordered to be sent to the Industrial School for a year, the father to be compelled to pay for 1 is maintenance. Charges against John Tannery and Ellen Barry (the prosecutrix not appearing) were dismissed
