IN BANKRUPTCY.
Monday, August 9. (Before his Honor Mr Justice Williams.) Adjourned Final Examinations.— Final orders of discharee were granted in the following cases, there being no opposition, and the trustees’ report favorable : —John Walls, James Todd, George Fraser, Wm. Hilton, John Nichols, Alfred A Pennefather, and Robert Wilson. The applications of James George Walter Scott, Adam Sprott Clark, Henry Edward Tattersfield, and Thomas Robson were adjourned till next Court day (the 16th inst.). Petitions fob Adjudication.— On the application of Mr M'Keay, John M 4 lndoe was adjudged a bankrupt, and the 17th inst. fixed for the first meeting of creditor's; and on the application of Mr Stout a similar adjudication was made in the matter of James Ward Cotton. Declarations of Complete Execution of Deed: —lt was mentioned that a declaration of complete execution of deed had been made in the matter of Louis Mendelssohn, bankrupt.— Mr Harris applied under the 248 th section of the Act, that the Court direct a deed to be filed and the bankruptcy annulled in the matter of Colman Burke. An application for the suspension of final proceedings was made before Mr Justice Johnston on July 2, and the order suspended for a month. Within that time the deed had been presented to the registrar.—To stand over till next day.
