The ship Aldcrgrove was admitted to pratique yesterday afternoon, and will be removed to-morrow alongside the railway pier to discharge. The s.s. Express sailed this morning for a special trip to Oamaru, The Union Co.’s p.s. Samson sailed for her usual trip to Oamaru shortly after the arrival of the seven o'clock train from Dunedin this morning. The ketch Trial, for Waikouaiti, came down from Dunedin this morning. The schooner Bencleuch and the ketch Kestrel are discharging grain into the barque Albyn’s Isle for Melbourne.
The Union Co.’s s.s. Maori was token into Murray’s floating dock to he cleaned, and have her bottom recoated with anti-fouling composition. The s.s. Shag which put hack yesterday afternoon, sailed again early this morning for Shag Point. The barque Crusader, with port of original cargo for Wellington, was towed to sea this morning by the tug Geelong. The schooner Mary Ellen, from the Kaikoras, and ketch Anne, from Moeraki, arrived this morning, and passed up to Dunedin. Messrs M’Meckan, Blackwood’s s.s." Taranto, took her departure this afternoon for Melbourne via Northem and West Coast ports.

Christchurch, July 29.—Tho New Zealand Shipping Company has received the following cablegram: —“ London.—Sailed : Columbus ana White Engle, for Auckland; Border Chief, for Wellington; Waimate, for Otago; Waikato, for Canterbury. The following vessels ate loading :—Ocean Mail, for Auckland; Inverness, for Napier; Howrah, for Wellington; Duke of Edinburgh and Waitangi, for Canterbury; Carmartheusliire and Mntaura, for Arrived: Mallard, Celestial Queen, Ocean Mail, and Waimate.
Wellington, July 30.— Sailed: Albion, s.s., for the South. Passengers for Dunedin—Mr and Mrs Beard.
