Sib, —In answer to “ Watchdog’s ’’ letter, I be? to say that the box of lire he writes about was nowhere near my bakery, but at the corner of St Andrew and Filk-ul streets—about seventy yards from my premises. I may also say that I know nothing of it or who placed it where it was found.—! am, Sic., James Jack. Dunedin, July 10.
