The amount of revenue received at the Customhouse on (roods cleared for consumption this day was L 1,417 9a Id. The adjourned meeting of the Kanieri Water-race Company yesterday was attended by the Hon. J. A. Bonar, of Hokitika, who reported on various matters connected with the company. The following resolution was adopted That the meeting will gladly assist to carry out any reasonable proposition submitted to them by the directors calculated to supply the additional capital required (about L3,000j, and they now adjourn till further communications are received from Hokitika.”
