HONESTY REWARDED.

To the Editor. Sib, —Walking up Stuart street yesterday afternoon I observed a pocket-handkerchief, a key, and a purse containing a very considerable sum of money. Of course I picked them np, and as I thought they might belong to one or other ef two ladies, who had passed immediately before, I ran after them and found the belonged to one of them. I returned the articles to her, and I am sorry to add that she had not the common courtesy to thank me for my trouble.
