THE WIDENING OF PRINCES STREET.

We loavn that an information has been filed by the Solicitor-General against the Corporation and the Marne tenants, and that they have been served with writs. We learn further that the Citizens’ Committee have compiled a narrative of the proceedings which led to the arbitration being entered upon. This narrative is now in the hands of the printer, and will be circulated shortly. The committee have made a commencement in collecting funds to defray legal and other expenses, and have appointed agents to thoroughlv canvass the city for subscriptions.
