Slß,—Having for many months had occasion to pass over the road leading from Dunedin to Boslyn after dark, I have been frequently much inconvenienced by the absence of lamps through the Town Belt, During the winter months those who Are unfortunate enough to reside in the vicinity of Roslyu have to trudge totheir homes without the slightest possibility (through the absence of light to enable them to avoid the muddy portions of the road) of doing so with comfort.
