Drunkenness. —John Mitchell, for being drunk and disorderly on the old jetty on Saturday night, was ordered to pay a fine of 10s. °r twenty-four hours* imprisonment. Embezzlement. —John*Brown, seaman,!belonging to the ship Leucadia, who was remanded onj Saturday on a charge of one case of brandy, of the value of L 3, part of the ship’s cargo, was again brought up. After hearing the evidence of H. Crowther, Custom-house officer, accused was ordered to be imprisoned, with hard labor, for si* weeks, and to forfeit the sum of 25s from his wages.
