THE WRESTLING MATCH.

To the Editor.

Slß,— ln the columns of the ‘ Daily Times ’ this morning I notice a paragraph as follows “ The wrestling match between John Tyson ami George Robertson (the half caste), which was postponed at the last Caledonian Gathering by mutual agreement tili the 25th inst., has unfortunately fallen through.” Now, on behalf of Tyson and his friends, I beg to state that the said match had not fallen through on his part; on the contrary, he is not only prepared to wrestle Robertson on the 25th as originally agreed, for the amount of the stakes then posted, but to double the amount, or failing either, to wrestle him for nothing. Your insertion of the above will oblige.—l am, D. McDonald. Dunedin, May 20.
