SUDDEN DEATH.

This afternoon a report reached us that a man had died suddenly in Cumberland street, and our reporter instituting in3 dines ascertained that the name of the eceased is James Bixon. an accountant in the employ of the Harbor Board. Ha had been drinking heavily of late, was unwell whan he retired to bed last night, and at three this afternoon on Mrs Locki -, a boardinghouse keeper, going to call him, she found him dead. Bixon was formerly in the Treasury and a few months ago was a patient in the Lunatic Asylum. The supposed cause of death is an apopleptic fit.
