Sln ’rT ill you P encit me to call attention, through the medium of your pa er, to the disgraceful and disgusting state of the channel in Castle street, between Albany and Frederick streets. It will only require a glance to enable anyone with common sense to understand the results likely to ensue if it be left in its present state. A fever will break out in the neighborhood, and then people will say, “ who’d have thought it.*—l am, &c., Dunedin, May 7. * Umm '
