Beautiful Star returned at 9 this morning from her usual trip to Lyttelton via Jimaru, and steamed alongside the ship Oamaru to discharge 700 bags of groin She left Lyttelton at A3O p.m. on the 26th, and Timaru, where she tor.k in besides other cargo 1,016 bags of grain, at 8.30 p.m. on the 27th, and arrived as above. Experienced fine weather during her return trin.

She brings 41 saloon, and 32 steerage passengers; 320 tons of cargo for all ports, •she sails for Dunedin to-morrow at 4 p.m. Passengers for Dunedin.- Misses Jones, Botterill.
