DISTRICT COURT.

M onday, April 26. (Before Judge Bathgate and a jury of four.) George Smith v, Thos. Carter Morgan, was a claim for L 97 17s, .the balance due for erecting three shops and dwellings in Great Kin' street. A set off for L 63 19s was put in. Mr Macassey appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr Stout for defendant.—Judgment was given for L 49 5s 6d. Mr Stout gave notice that he intended to apply for a rehearing.
