DOWLING STREET.
To Oir K-Utor.
Sir, —There being ,i probability of the Corporationimproving Dowling street from the steps would it not be advisable to make a cutting through from Princes street to the Catholic Chapel, or thereabouts ? There would then be a road with a grad' nt, giving an easy and short access to the different parts of Bell Tower, and adjacent localities, which, at present, they do not pcs ess, all vehicles having to go all the way around by Stuart street.— I am, &c., . Progress. April 14, 1876.
