The lease of the Hillside tollgate for the ensuing by Mi Milner to Mr Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. sold Mr Pritchard’s race-horse fertobe, five years old, by Panic, out of Hester Grazebrook, at the Provincial Yards this morning. Bidding started at 100 guineas, and was continued languidly until 155 guineas was reached, at which price Pertobe was knocked down to Mr Alexander Patterson, livery stable keeper at Oamaru.; Messrs'M*Landress, Hepburn,'and Co. report haying sold to-day : Section 35, block 11 (freehold), with a frontage of 28ft to Duncan street, with fourroomed house thereon, to Mr G. W. Eliott, for and portions of secs. 5,6, and 7, block 291 (freehold), George street, at prices ranging from L3los to L 7 per foot.
