A REGATTA.

To the Editor. Sir,— As a report is in circulation to the effect that it is the intention of the Otago Bowing Club .to call a meeting with the view of getting up a regatta to take place at an early da.te, I should advise them, if such be their intention, not to put off much time in so doing, as winter is fast approaching, and the crews of “oats should have some little time to go in for practice in order to make a respectable turn out, and at the same time to make it a success. Ine regatta should be held as close to Dunedin as possible.—l am, &c., j W. Dunedin, March 1.
