(Before J. Bathgate, Esq., R.M.) Drunkenness.—Edward Stilt was fined ss, with the alternative of twenty-four hours’ imprisonment. "Vagrancy.—Fred. Harris, au old offender, charged with having no lawful means of support, was sent to gaol for three months. I 1 raud.- -John Henry Hall was charged on the information of Constable Henderson with obtaining by means of false representations, at Nokomai.on August 10, from Thomas Aikman, a cheque for the payment of L 22 10s.- On the application of the police the accused was remanded to Switzers.
