ARRIVED. / February 12.—Bruce, s.s., 205 tons, Jones, from Lyttelton, via intermediate ports. Passengers : Mr and Mrs M'Kenzie, Mrs Hill. Mrs and Miss Craig, Mrs Hobbs and two children, Bishop Neville, Mrs Neville, Messrs Westwood, White, Fitchet, D. Mills, 8 pence, M'Cready (two), Burton, Cockroft, and nine in the steerage. Comerang, p.s , 125 tons, Best, from Oamaru. P Harriet Armitage, barque, 234 tons, Mailler, from Kaipara". Alexandra, brig, from Kaipara^ BAILED. February 12. Annie Lisle, barque, 347 tons, Marshall, for Whangaroa. Endeavor, schooner, 75 tons, Dick, for Kakanui. Samson, p.s., 124 tons, Edie, for Oamaru. ' Lloyd’s Herald, ketch, 50 tons, Marks, for Catlins River. The barque Annie Lisle, for Whangaroa, was towed to sea yesterday by the tug Geelong. The brig Alexandra arrived at the Heads this morning. She left Kaipara the same day as the Harriet Armitage. The p.s. Comerang arrived from Oamaru at 9 a.m. to-day, and steamed alongside the ship Auckland to discharge cargo. The barque Chaudibre will be removed from the stream alongside the railway pier this evening. where she will discharge the Dunedin portion, of her cargo of sugars. The Harbor Co.’s s.s. Bruce arrived from Lyttelton at 6,15 this morning. She left Lyttelton at 3 p.m. on the 10th, Akaroa at 9.30 p.m., and Timaru at 1.30 p.m. next day. Experienced a heavy S.E. wind from Timaru. Early this morning the signals at the Heads announced the arrival of the ship Gareloch, from London, and shortly afterwards that there was scarlet fever on board. . The tug Geelong proceeded down and wiU tow her up as far as the Quarantine Ground this evening. The barque Harriett Armitage arrived at the Heads at 8 p.m, yesterday with a full cargo of timber from Kaipara, which port she left ou the Ist inst.; had southerly winds to Cape Egmont which she passed on the 4th, then ■easterly winds till passing Cape Campbell at •noon on the 7th, and passed Akaroa at 6 p.m. ■on the 10th - , when she encountered a strong south gale, which continued to arrival at the Heads ; was towed up this morning by the Comerang, and will discharge at Dunedin.
