SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
Auckland, January 22. —The Warwick arrived to-day, 102 days out from London, all ■well. —The City of Melbourne sailed for San Francisco this afternoon.—Arrived, s.s. Wellington, from the South, Nfiw Plymouth, January 23. —Arrived, Avalanche, 92 days from land to land, with 230 immigrants, 74 of whom are for Wellington. AM well. She left for Wellington last night. Nelson, January 22. —Arrived, Michael Angelo, eighty-one days out from the Downs, with 292 immigrants. There was no disease on board. One adult and five infants died on the passage. Captain Luckie was found dead in his cabin last Monday, it is supposed from heart disease. A seaman fell overboard and was drowned. Wellington, January 23. —The ship Berar, from London, with immigrants, arrived last night, being eighty-nine days on the passage. There were twenty-one deaths from scarlet fever on the voyage, and twenty cases are still tinder treatment. Fever made its appearance the day after leaving London. The vessel has been placed in quarantine and will probably be detained for a fortnight.
