The American steamer Swatara sailed last evening for Hobart Town via the Bluff. The ship Auckland was taking out of the Graving Dock, and the s.s. Express taken in this morning. The ship Invercargill was removed from #ie new pier alongside the ship Nelson, and will be towed to sea on Monday. The ship Margaret Galbraith and barque Sunlight will be removed from the stream along aide the railway pier on Monday. The Amur, barque, arrived from Foo Choo Foo yesterday afternoon, having left that port on Novemoer 5, We are compelled to hold over our report of her passage. The s.s. Wellington, whose departure was postponed on account of the arrival of the s s. Albion with the Suez mail yesterday at the Bluff, sailed this morning with the northern porj tion of the mails, besides a good number of passengers. Amongst these were the Otago Volunteer representatives, who take pait in the Colonial prize firing at the Thames. Messrs M‘Meckan, Blackwood’s fi»e s.s, Albion arrived at 4 a.m. this morning from Melbourne via the Bluff, with the Suez mail on board, having made a splendid passage of four days seven hour from Melbourne to the Bluff, and from the Bluff to Port t 'halmers of twelve hours. She cleared Port Phillip Heads at 9 p.m. on the 10th inst, and arrived at the Bluff at 6 a.m. on the 15th. During her passage from Melbourne she carried away her fore-topmast. We thank her purser, Mr J. Norris, for report and exchanges.
