Issued under Ordinance intituled “The OtagoMunieipd Corporatiou Ordinance, THE National Bank of New Zealand (Limited) has been instructed by the Corporation of the town of Invercargill to invite tenders for the whole or any portion of debentures representing £3,000, and bearing interest at six per cent, per annum, payable half yearly. The debentures will be payable in twenty years, and will be dated Ist December, 1874. They will be for fifty pounds each, and secured on the town rates. 1 he coupons attached for each half-year’s interest will he made payable (free of exchange) at any office of the National Bank of New Zealand (Limited) in New Zealand. A minimum pri -e will be fixed before the tenders are opened. Tenders in accordance with the annexed form will be received by the National Bank of New Zealand (Limited) up to noon on the 30th November, 1874, and must be addressed “Tender for Invercargill Borough Corporation Loan.” Payment will be required as follows : Five per cent, on amount applied for to accompany tender, and balance within fifteen days of acceptance. The debentures will bear interest from the Ist day of December, 1874.
