Over these ropes is placed a canvas cover, tightly buckled ; over this ag im a e placed additional ropes, tied with double reef knots. . Within the space of four minutes the canopy will be removed, when Zelinda vmIL be found to have disappeared ; and, after the rop s have been removed, the canvas cover taken off, and the box unlock d, she will be found calmly reposing inside the box. r J he box, ropes, canvas cover, and the canopy are all open to the minute inspection of any committee which may be chosen by the audience, who are at liberty to remain on tee stage during this truly wonderful performauce.
