The ketch Fanny sailed for Gatlin’s River this morning. The schooner Janet Ramsay sailed yesterday for Gatlin’s River. . The 8.8. Lady of the Lake sailed yesterday for the Molyneux. The ship Lennox Castle was removed from the railway pier this mcrring. The barque Olive Branch commenced to discharge her horses this morning. The cutter Jane Campbell arrived yesterday afternoon and passed up to Dunedin. The p.s. Samson, for Oamaru, sailed shortly after the arrival of the 6.30 train this morning. The barcpie Fleur de Meurice was towed up to Dunedin this morning by the p.s. Golden Age. The schooner Jane Hannah and ketch Glimpse were taken off the slips at high water yesterday. . The schooner Dunedin, brigantine Kate Brain, and ketch Glimpse sailed up to Dunedin this morning. The brig Somerville was removed from the stream alongside the railway pier this morning, and commenced to discharge her Dunedin portion of sugar.' The S.W. wind which has prevailed for the last few days shifted this morning to theN.E., and enabled the brig Fire Fly, which arrived at the Heads from Newcastle on Tuesday, to sail up, where she was moored alongside the hulk Henbury to discharge. She left Newcastle on the 13th. The topsail schooner James Paxton arrived this morning and continued her course to Dunedin. She brings a full cargo of timber from Riverton, which port she left on the 25th inst. She had strong S.W. winds till this morning, when sho got a fine N.E. wind, which enabled her to sail up as above. The Harbor Co.’s s.s. Bruce arrivedat 9 p.m. yesterday from her usual trip to Lyttelton and intermediate ports, and steamed alongside the ship Christian M‘Ausland to discharge wool. She left Lyttelton on the 24th, called at Mcaroa and Timaru, and arrived as above, having experienced fresh N.E. winds during the passage. The fine barque Freetrader, which was reS'rted in our last issue as having arrived at the eads, was towed up yesterday afternoon, and passed the Port to Dunedin, having accomplished another rapid passage of six days from Hobart Town, which port she left on the 20th.
