Wellington, for Northern Ports, Nov. 13. Waikato, for London, December 15. The barque Cordelia will sail for Wellington this evening. The barque Woodville sailed this morning for Newcastle. . The barque Ardour has commenced discharging the Dunedin portion of her cargo. The ship Jessie Headman was removed this morning by the tug Geelong alongside the new pier, where she will discharge the remainder of her cargo of railway iron. The s.s. Otago, from Melbourne via the Bluff, arrived alongside the railway pier early this morning, her mails and passengers being conveyed to Dunedin by the 7.15 train. She left the Saudridge railway pier, with a full cargo and a large number of passengers, at 8 p.m. on the sth, cleared Port Phillip Heads at 11 p in., and passed Swan Island at 8 p.m. next day. During thefirst part of her passage had fresh westerly .winds with fine weather, and during the latter part S.E, winds. Passed the Solander at 8 p.m. on the 10th. Captain M‘Lean seeing a light on the island, lowered a boat, and sent her to see what the light meant. The boat ascertained that there had been four men on the island for four months sealing, that they bad taken 500 seals during the time, and wished that assistance might be sent to them from the Bluff. The Otago then steamed away, and arrived at the Bluff at daylight next morning. Left for Port Chalmers at 4 p.m., and arrived at the Henris at 3.30 this morning ; eased steam and came inside at 5.30, arriving as above. She brings 157 tons cargo and iittysevou horses for this port. We thank Mr Heaton (purser) for exchanges.
