The amount of revenue received at the Ouu taei-house on cleared for consumption ibis day was L51013s Bd. Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co, held a sale of City freehold properties at their rooms yesterday. There was a good muster of buyers, who competed with considerable spirit. Lots 2 and 3, consisting of two semi-detached brick villa residences in Cumberland street, next All Saints’ Church, were knocked down to Messrs Spedding and Reeves for LSBO each. Lot 1, St. Ronan’s, the residence of Mr R. Oliver, at the corner of Dundas and Queen streets, did not meet with a buyer at the sale, but was afterwards sold privately to Thorais Mr M. Willrmon, for L 1,600.

ChbistcHuech, September 25.—Quotations, f.o.b. at Lyttelton—Wheat, 5s to 5a 3d ; oats, v, 6d; barley, none ; flour, Ll2 to Ll3; bran, 3j6 ; sharps, L 6 to L 7; cheese, 8d ; hams and bacon (uncovered) 9jd ; hams alone, Is, Millers’ stocks of wheat are low. Oats are exceedingly scarce, the demand being more than equal to the supply. It is believed the stock will be scarcely equal to local requirements. Wellington, September 25. —Mr O’Shea reports flour Ll3 to Ll3 10s ; oats, 5s 4d to os 9d; wheat, 4s 9d to 5s 6d; pollard, 8s; oatmeal, 23s to 26s ; bacen, 10 .Jd; hams. Is; cheese, B£d to 9d.
