■Wellington, September 22. Mr Robert R. Strong, late Registrar here, and well known all over the Colony, died this morning, aged seventy-nine. Queenstown, September 22. Mr R. Clarke has resigned his seat in the Provincial Council. Messrs Innesand Manders wiU come forward, and possibly Mr Miller. The accounts from Palmer have quite unsettled matters here. There has been another snowstorm to-day.
