The annual meeting of the Shotover Terrace Mining Go. held yesterday was attended by nine shareholders. It had been previously announced by advertisement that the meeting would only be held pro forma, and for the purpose ©f adjournment, in consequence of the non-arrival from Queenstown of the company’s books and accounts. A legal quorum having been obtained, Mr H. F. Hardy was voted to the chair, and Mr Turnbull moved:—“ That at the adjourned meeting the following particulars be furnished, namely : Ist, Details of the amounts paid as preliminary expenses, and of all sums charged as expenses, since the company was formed to the present time, with the names of the parties to whom such amounts were paid. 2nd. Details of all sums charged as brokerage or commission on shares sold, or calls received, with the names of the recipients of such brokerage and commissions. 3rd. A return of all transfers of shares from the floating of the company till the present time, giving the names of sellers and buyers, and the prices at which the shares were transferred, keeping in a separate list the paid-up shares allotted to the original owners of the company.” The resolution was carried.
