Law was elected President; Mr Winter, Treasurer ; Messrs Speight, Lambert, J. Anderson, G. R. Smith, and William Davies, members of Committee; and Mr William Pringle and Mr A, R. Hay, auditors. The ( Bruce Herald’ reports that the land at Saddle Hill, lately occupied by Mr James Purvis, consisting of 114 acres, has been purchased by Mr N. J. B. M'Gregor, at the rate of L 7 2s 6d «a acre.
