The ketch Fanny sailed last night for Gatlin’s brigantine Kate Brain sailed for Oamaru this morning. „ , ~ ~ , The 8.8. Lady of the Lake sailed last evening for the Molyneux. The schooner United Brothers sailed this morning for Gatlin’s River. The p.s. Samson sailed for her usual trip to Oamaru this morning shortly after the arrival of the 7.30 train. The bri° Syren came down from Dunedin to oad for Auckland. The s.s. Wallabi, after transhipping her meats at the William Davie, ■teamed alongside the Syren to discharge 1,000 hags of flour and oats. The s.s. Wallabi arrived at 4 o clock this morning, having made a special trip to Oamaru. She left Port Chalmers at 9 a.m. on the 28th, and arrived at Oamaru at 5 a.m. on the 29th ", . took in i,OOO sacks of flour and oats and 13 tons of preserved meats, and left again for Port Chalmers at .8 p.m., arrived as above, and ■teamed alongside the ship William Davie to
discharge the eases of meats. The ».s. Omeo arrived alongside the railway pier, at 8, o’clock this morning, her passengers and inails being conveyed to Dunedin by the 9 •.mi train. Captain Calder reports leaving Melbourne at 2 p.m. on the 20th; cleared the Straits at 6 p.m. next day, with light south- • west winds and cloudy weather, which was followed by easterly winds and fine weather to arril at the Bluff at 9.30 a.m. on the 28th. While in the Straits, boarded the Claud Hamilton, and sent letters and exchanged files with her. Discharged passengers and cargo, and left for Port Chalmers, at 4 p.m., on the 29th; had light winds to arrival as above. She brings 180 tons of cargo and thirty-four passengers for Dunedin, besides 179 tons and 34 passengers for other ports. We thank her purser, Mr L. C. Miller, for Melbourne files.
