The amount of revenue received at the Cos-tjjn-houße on cleared for consumption was . this day L 551 3s 3d. Gold duty, L 35 18s lid. A. Mercer reports for the week ending June 26:—Retail prices only: Fresh butter in 41b and lib prints, la 9d per lb; second quality, Is 7d to Is 8d per lb ; fresh butter, in lumps, Is 6d per lb; good salt batter, Is 6d per lb. The supply of fresh butter is still falling off, and grocers cannot get enough at present to supply their customers, and a slight advance taken place this week, and a further rise is lookra for. Cheese, best quality, 10d to Is per Side and rolled bacon, more plentiful, and selling at lOd to Is per lb. Colonial hams, Is to Is 2d per lb. English hams—although the market is well supplied at present, there is y oi T uttle sale, even at reduced prices—Is 5d to Is 6d per lb. Eggs are getting more plentiful, and retailing at 2s per dozen.
