CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
A special meeting of the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce was held at the Municipal Chambers this afternoon. There was a bare quorum of members present. The first matter brought up was the report of the Sub-Committee on some recommendations of the Christchurch Chamber of ’Commerce with reference to the amendment of the Insolvency Act. The Sub-Committee recommended that all these suggestions should be adopted with the exception of one. The meeting had not terminated when we went |o press.
