The cutter Hope arrived this morning, from Oamaru, and passed up to Dunedin. • The coasters Jane, for Shag Point, and Lloyd’s Herald, for Gatlin’s River, sailed yesterday. The barque Southern" Cross, for Hobart Town, was towed to sea by the Geelong this morning. The schooner Cora came down from Dunedin, to take on board railway iron from the ship J. N. Fleming. The three-masted schooner Euphroysne was taken off Isbister’s slip yesterday afternoon, and went alongside the barque|Harriet Armitage for a cargo of coal for Oamaru. The brig Syren was signalled at the Heads this morning, and, taking advantage of the light N.E. wind, sailed up the harbor to an anchorage. She left the Manukau on the 30th ultimo, and was scarcely fairly at sea when she was overtaken hy a S.S.E. gale, which lasted for forty-eight hours; then dirty west and south-easterly weather till arrival. She was towed to Dunedin this afternoon.
