A SUGGESTION.

To the Editor. Sir,- In “Erewhon”' there is an official described under the name of the “ Family Straightener.” I think it would be well if we had some such official in Dunedin. He might prescribe for those members of the legal profession who have of late shown that they urgently require treatment of the kind that this officer would dispense. If they could be made each to pay, say, LICO, to the Benevolent Institution, it niight probably do their complaints good, and prevent them from again outraging public decency.— I am, &c., Ebebus. Dunedin, May 25.
