RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Wednesday, May 6. (Before J. Bathgate, Esq., R.M.)
Larceny. Robert Glover, actor, was placed in the dock, charged with stealing trnm the Dunedin Hotel, Maclaggan street one pair tweed trousers, one tweed vest, two white shirts, one silk handkerchief, one blue Mecktie, and three shirt studs, of the value of L 4, the property of William Chaste Vlr M'Keay appeared for prisoner, who pleaded not guilty, and asked for a remand till next day, as he had only just been in-structed.—&ub-Inspector Mallard objected
to a remand, as the case was a plain one.r— Accused was remanded till next day, the Bench agreeing to admit him to bail iu his own recognizance of L2O and two sureties of LlO each.
