CADET FIRING.
The thirty highest competitors in the Colony who fired for the cadet prizes some time since are now competing for the cadet championship of the Colony, The conditions of the competition are—Ranges, 100, 200 and 300 yards ; seven shots at each, and the highest scorer holds the belt until the next competition, and receives LlO, the second the third L 4, the fourth L 3, and the fifth L2. Four of the Dunedin cadets fired yesterday, with the following results : 100 yds 200 yds 300 yds Tl.
