The application? "of Mr George Burke, to -purchase secs. 2 and 14, block 3, and 2 abd 4, block 6, Tuapeka West, held under agricultural lease, was approved. The opinion of the Attorney-General on the question raised by Sir F. D. Bell as to the power of the Board to sell the land in Shag Valley, formerly part of his runs 109, 255, and 80, and lately added to the Goldfields, was received and noted. The application of Mr Patrick Kean to exchange his lease of sec. 19, block 3, Tuapeka East, for a lease under the Waste Lands Act, was approved.
