To the Editor, Sir,— Allow me to state, in correction of your report ef proceedings in the appeal ease ‘‘Waterworlts Company v. Halfway Bush Road B^ard/ 1 that i am not one of the valu* ators of the Board, nor have I had anything whatever to do (except as a member of the Board) with the valuation of any property iu the district. I was called (without my hav* ing any notice of the intention of counsel) to give evidence, as an old resident in the district, to shew that the district roads had sustained considerable injury from the cartage of material used in the construction of the Company’s works.—l am, &c., A.
