The amount of ramrt taoeired at the Ous-tom-house on goods cleared for consumption this day, was L 1,155 M. Messrs Driver, Stewart, and Co. report sales as follows Campbell Brenj. ’ station, Waimahaka, Toitois, 1,300 seres, at L 3 an acre, to Mr Jas. Holmes ; and CaMjage-tree-hill estate, Hokonui, 5,100 acres, ;at L2 ss, to Mr F. Wentworth; Mr John M'Lean’s stations, at Lindis, with 140,000 sheep, to the Hon. Col. Whitmore, for LISOjOOO. The suspension of Mr I. B. Sheath, Christchurch, trading as A. J. White and Co., with considerable liabilities in Canterbury, as well as in the other Provinces, is announced. The business was almost entirely confined to the furniture trade.
