Wanganui, for Bluff, Feb. 17. Zealand!*, for London, Feb. 25. The schooner Ivanhoe sailed this morning for Bluff Harbor. The 8.8. Gothenburg will sail for Melbourne, via the Bluff, to-morrow afternoon. The b.B. Wanganui, after being cleaned and painted, was taken out of Murray’s floating dock, and will resnrae her Southern trade, leaving for the Bluff this evening. The s.s. Gothenburg having had her new shaft fitted, was taken out of the Graving Dock to-day, and the ship Agnes Muir was taken in for the purpose of being cleaned and painted. The Harbor Company’s s.s. Maori returned from Lyttelton and intermediate, ports this morning, at 5.30, and went alongside the barque Nicolino to dissharge. We thank her steward for Lyttelton papers. The p.e. Samson returned last night from her vsual trip to Oamaru, and steamed alongside tire barque Elizabeth Graham to discharge eargo. Her passengers were conveyed to Dunedin by the p.s. Golden Age. The Jessie Nichols, a fine topsail schooner of 93 tons, arrived yesterday afternoon from Auckland, via Lyttelton. She is owned by Mr F. Wood, of Auckland, and is on a cruise round the Island, for scientific purposes. She left Auckland on the 24th of January; called at Lyttelton, which port she left on the 7th instant, and was off the Heads last Sunday, but owing to the dense fog she stood off, and arrived at the Heads again on Tuesday. After remaining here a few days she proceeds south.
SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Bluff, February 12.—Newsbasboen brought from Stewart’s Island that the barque William Ackers, from Dunedin, bound to Newcastle, three weeks out, put in there on the sth short of provisions, and sailed again on the 6th. Lyttelton, February 12.—Arrived, Mikado; Bii6 sails for the North this afternoon.
