CAPTAIN JOHNSON’S CASE.
[Touching the second punishment for the already more than amply puniahed offence.] To the Editor. • Sir,—l relieve the prosecutors from the dilemma of even attempting to answer my question by shewing the .Resident Magistrate's jurisdiction in the matter ; and, as he does not appear to have any, I suggest, rather than the proposed petition, that Captain Johnson be, as he ought to be, at once discharged from his illegal imprisonment.— I am, &c, Quare, Nosr Coram.
