The amount of revenue recoived'at the Cus-tom-house on goods cleared ; for consumption this day, was L 1,063 3s 2d. # The freehold and leasehold properties advertised by Messrs M'Landress, Hepburn, and Co. were submitted to auction to-day. The freehold residence in London street fetched L 880; and the leasehold dwelling in Dowling street, L 602. The rest were withdrawn. They also sold the salvage goods ex the Surat. The prices fetched were:—Hunt’s (three in a diamond) port, L 7 10s; Hennessy’s case brandy brought the full bonded price, 27s 9d; flour, 25s a barrel; Compton’s hams, Is 2d ; Belmont candles, 9|d; tobacco, 5Jd. The goods generally sold well. Several boxes •of passengers’ luggage have arrived, but they were placed on one side and were not sold. ' The station property advertised by Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co. was withdrawn, there being no bids.
