Drunkenness. —Matthew Halliday was lined ss, with the usual alternative ; Anne Hardy, a very old offender, who has spent the Christmas holidays in gaol for the last seven years, and who was also charged with making use of obscene language, 20s, or four days. Indecency.— -Christian le France, charged with exposing his person in Rattray street, was sentenced to four days’ imprisonment, with hard labor. Saturday, December 27. Drunkenness, David Wilson, alias Wilke, alias Lawson, alias Watson, another old offender, was fined 40s, in default seven days’ imprisonment, with hard labor. Indecent Exposure.- —Henry Yezey, for this offence, was sent to gaol for three days. Breach of the Peace. John Collins was charged with conducting himself in a manner calculated to cause a breach of the peace at Green Island on the previous day. The prisoner had for seme time past been conducting himself in a disorderly manner, and bad on one occasion threatened to throttle his mother. On the previous day he had wanted a man named Hawkins to tight with him, and became exceedingly boisterous. lu consequence of his conduct a couple of days ago two policemen had to be despatched to his residence at midnight. He was lined 20s, in default 48 hours’ imprisonment, and was bound over to keep the peace for three months in his own recognisance of LlO, and one surety in a similar amount.
