MIDDLE DISTRICT SCHOOL.
To the Editor. Sir, —Wanted to know, through the columns of your valuable journal how there were no prizes or certificates awarded for writing in Mr Ferguson’s department, second master of the .Middle District School, at the examination held there on the Sth and 9th December, 1573, as they were given in the other departments of that school. This may be a question for the School Committee.—l am, kv., An Observer. Dunedin, December 12.
