Ihe steamer Saxpro. for Queensland and Torres Straits* service, has sailed. 1 lie Star of the North, in a gale off Scilly Islands, tluew overboard her cargo of flour. . Melbourne, Oct. o.—Arnyed: Nightingale, from Wangaroa; Prosperity, from Hokitika; Adieu, from Kaipara; Moa, from Kaipara. Sailed, Sept. 30 : H.M. war schooner Beagle, for Fiji. The French steamer Feneloii is daily expected with the wives of 500 Communists, for Noumea. Newcastle. —Arrived : Princess Alice, from Auckland ; Omeo, from Nelson. The Mayonnaise has sailed for Auckland, William Ackeis for Dunedin, and Drover and Pita for Auckland.
