N. Fleming. . , The s.s. Stormbird arrived this morning at 10.20, and passed up to Dunedin. The steamers Pretty Jane for the Molyneux, and Samson, for Oamaru sailed last night. The ketch Clematis, for Nayier, boat down yesterday, and sails the first favorable wind. J The Defiance arrived this morning, from Kakanui, with 230 cases meat and 37 bales of wool for the ship J. N. Fleming. The coasters Lloyd s Herald from Latun s river. Alexandra, from Waikouaiti, and Janet Ramsay from Pelorus Sound, passed up to Dunedin this morning. The Geelong was taken into the floating clock this morning for the purpose of being cleaned and re-painted, after which she will resume her regular service. The following vessels have sailed with cargoes of timber from Whangaroa: Tower Hill, African Maid, and Echo, for Melbourne ; Heather Bell, for Sydney. Prom Kaipara : Florence, for Wanganui; Elizabeth Curie, for Lyttelton. From Thames: Rita, for Sydney. From Auckland: Merlin, for Napier; Whangapoa and Duke of Edinburgh, for Timaru. Loading.— Surprise, for Lyttelton;; Derwent and Bella Brandon, for Dunedin ; Alient, for Timaru; Mary Webster, for Wellington. The Flirt is loading coal at the Bay of Islands for Lyttelton.
