In the London Bail Court, before Justices Blackburn, Lush, and Archibald, a rule for a new trial was granted in a somewhat complicated case of street accident. * n omnibus, passing over a part of the roadway where the stones had been lifted, lurched in a hollow, thus striking on a barrow standing by the roadside, which communicated the imp,ict to another, and severely injured a boy. ,tthe trial, the plaintiff—representing the b o y_obtained a verdict, with damages L 7. r >; but now a new trial was granted, on the ground that the yerdict was against evidence.
