The amount of revenue received at the Cus-tom-house on goods cleared for consumption this day, was L52119s 9d. The announcement by the Treasurer, of the change in levying Customs duties on the value instead of the measurement of certain classes of goods, will affect them variously in the proportion of bulk to value. In drapery, the difference will be more marked than in other trades; but in that class of goods as in others, some will be increased in price while others will be diminished. In oilmen’s stores, pickles maybelookeduponas Is 4a lower, and salad oils 9d to Is ; while vestas will be worth more by 2s the gross; sardines, 9d for halves and 6d for quarters; jams, 4s per dozen ; and blue. 7s per cwt. In general revenue there is no change.
