PBOYINCIAL COUNCIL ELECTION.
Men of Dunedin! the day of election For meihberß to serve in the Council V at hand; Show, .by your votes, that you’ve made the - selection Of those do good to your City and land. Seeking your suifrages, sure, there’s a host of Men of all trades, and professions, ’twould deem; Pick from them such, as Otago may boast of, Such as will surely their pledges redeem. Reynolds and Haggitt, Turnbull and Fish, For better in Council you scarcely could wish; Bathgate and Barton, Turfcon or Walter, These are the men who in duty won’t falter! Great City Councillor Rossbotham’s there— Servo him as when he so wished to be Mayor. Then, there’s another, who’s not worth a button, Guess I—Give it up?— Well, his name, it is— Cutten. Others there are, but they’re only “ small fry,” Still, they’re ambitious, and must have a try. Stick to our “ Super,” that will be again ! Send in the men who are sure to support him! Then you will find yourselves right, in the main, Spite of the Times, that will so misreport him. WahshSit.
